Volunteer Chaplains Organizations
The United States Volunteers - Joint Services Command (USV-JSC™) Chaplain Corps is composed of military chaplains active and retired; and qualified civilian clergy.
The USV-JSC™ chaplains are disciplined, trained and loyal uniformed volunteers that serve locally and stand ready to serve nationally the Department of Defense in local communities.
To become a USV-JSC chaplain, you must be a fully qualified member of the clergy of your religious group with the appropriate educational background. Our chaplains come from all religious faith groups. You must be qualified spiritually, morally, educationally and emotionally to serve as a volunteer chaplain. You must be sensitive to religious pluralism and committed to the free exercise of religion. Finally, you must become a member of USV-JSC and pass a background check to rule out any prior felony convictions.
USV-JSC™'s primary mission is "boots on graves,” rendering proper final military honors for every veteran who
has honorably served this nation.
